The course is tailored to produce graduates who can work in the field and also be effective managers of media institutions. This course has been developed and designed to meet increased demand for personnel with specialized skills and knowledge in the various aspects of the media industry. Teaching methods consist of lectures, seminars, practical’s, written assignments, project work, field visits, individual reading, research, problem solving and practical attachment. The practical teaching uses equipment commonly used in the media industry.
- Introduce students to the basic fundamentals of Media Sciences including journalism in the Print and Audio Visual format.
- Expose students to current media trends and practice in media science work.
- Trains students in the art of print and audio visual media production to prepare them as competent media professionals.
- Equip students with necessary knowledge and skills in media production covering areas such as the collection, processing, dissemination and archiving of news/information.
- Improve the professional standards and status of the
disciplines in the media science.

Students will be provided with 2 shirts, 2 trouser, 1 business suit, 1 tie, 1 Bag. Students will also be able to access all facilities available at the campus. All University charges like Registration Fee, Development Fee, and Exam Fee etc. have to be paid by the student, separately to the University.
Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor in Media Science must have passed 10+2 from any board with English as a subject. Students from any stream can apply.
