The Bhutan ICT & Training Association (BICTTA) is an organization representing the private ICT & Training Industry of the country. The mission is to enable, facilitate, promote, and develop ICT and Training Industry in Bhutan.

The vision is to achieve quality ICT services, ICT products, and skill-based Human Resources development in large and ideal knowledge-based society.

The three-day conference commenced on May 22, 2014. More than 100 international delegates and speakers from all the 7 participating countries shared their thoughts, experiences and learning on ICTs impact on society and how happiness and lifestyle of living beings is being impacted.

The emphasis is placed equally on both the young as well as ageing population and how ICT can help people’s pursuit of happiness.

Eminent personalities spoke on the Role of ICT in Gross National Happiness, Wellness and Healthcare, Entrepreneurship Development, Tourism, Culture & Food, Educational Skill Development, Banking, Finance, insurance & M-commerce. There was also a special session on HappineEminent personalities spoke on the Role of ICT in Gross National Happiness,ss followed by a session on meditation.

INSPIRIA was present as an exhibitor at the event and Atul Gupta, the managing trustee of Inspiria, spoke on the role of ICT in the education sector.

The conference showcased young startups from other countries that have started innovative companies straight out of college and have made significant progress.

The conference closed with an awards and closing ceremony.
