A firm believer in the effectiveness of experiential learning pedagogy and critical and cognitive engagements, Koel Chakraborty, completed her Bachelors – B.Com Honors, in Business studies from University of Calcutta, followed by her Master of Finance and Control in Amity University. After working for a few years as a financial consultant in areas of corporate accounting and US taxation, she was awarded a full ride scholarship to pursue her Masters in Management at University College London, United Kingdom, where she was conferred a Degree of Merit for her thesis in Organizational Behavior. She has more than a decade of industry experience in global F&A in organizations such as Deloitte, Capgemini, A.P. Moeller Maersk, and Genpact. She is currently pursuing her interests in research and academia and she aspires to be a cog in the wheel of the global education movement by engaging in transformative learning practices.
