RULES AND REGULATIONS :

  • Each participant need to submit one from each criteria.
  • Originality – How unique the meme is, including the use of original images or original editing of images.
  • Level of Insightfulness – To what degree the meme contains information that is not commonly known by the public.
  • Importance – The prominence of the issue(s) addressed by the meme.
  • Wit/Humor – How funny the meme is.
  • Refrain – Use of Adult, Socio – cultural, Religious, Political satire and biases in content.
  • Infringement of any rule will lead to direct disqualification.

a] EXTEMPORE

    • Format of Competition:
      Each participant will be given five minutes to speak extempore on a topic picked up by him or her. Bunch of the topics will be given to select any one randomly. He/she will be given two minutes prior to the speech to think over the topic.

 

  • RULES
    • Participant has to speak in English, Hindi, Bengali and Nepali.
    • Maximum time limit for think over the topic will be 15 minutes and minimum speech time 1 min, maximum 5 minutes.
    • The participant will be allowed to select the topic maximum twice. In case he or she decides to select the topic second time then he or she will not be allowed to take up the first topic.
    • Participant will not be allowed to take any paper or material with him or her during the speech.

b] SLAM POETRY

  • Make your poetry slam original. The written piece must be original.
  • Pay attention to time. Each poet has 3 minutes to perform.
  • Keep it simple and relatable. Your poem should be able to reach your audience the first time it’s heard.
  • Perform with rhythm and passion.
  • Practice with Power Poetry.

c] MIMICRY

  • Each student artist shall be given a maximum of 5 minutes.
  • Participants may mimic the sound of machines and speeches of well-known persons, (can also use sayari while mono-acting) etc. Including film personalities.
  • Judgment will be based on qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of makeup, music & general impression.
  • Marking will be based on Skill imitating, Presentation
  • Medium of expression will be in Hindi, English, Bengali and Nepali.
  • It should necessarily be cultured and pleasant piece of art.

d] STAND UP GIGS(COMEDY/SATIRE)

  • It is an individual competition.
  • Time limit is 4-5 Minutes.
  • Participants will be judged on the basis of content, fluency, spontaneity, presentation & sense of humor.
  • No participant can point out any individual or religion in any way, and any dual meaning obscene content is strictly not allowed.
  • Negative marking for exceeding time limit.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

RULES AND REGULATIONS :

  • Participants are instructed to bring his or her own camera.
  • The participants will be given one hour for clicking two pictures.
  • Pictures must be taken from within the campus; nobody can leave the campus with the excuse of clicking pictures.
  • No editing will be appreciated; participants have to adjust their camera mode before clicking photos.
  • Exactly one hour later, the participants have to submit their photos.

SHORT FILMS: FICTION, NON-FICTION & ANIMATION

  • The competition is only limited to undergraduate students.
  • Plagiarism shall lead to disqualification.
  • One college could have a maximum of two groups.
  • Subtitles must be in English.
  • A team shall not have more than 8 members in a group.
  • A team shall carry an extra backup video.
  • Any type of consumption of tobacco or alcohol in the video will lead to disqualification.
  • The Film has to be made after May 2019.

ANIMATION

The team needs to submit one-minute short animation based on their own ideas or any public domain content. The medium can be 2D, 3D or Stop Motion. The process has to be original.

  • Video length should not be more than 3 min.
  • The competition is only limited to undergraduate students.

THEME

The Centre for Science and Environment has alleged that coca-cola soft drink contains pesticide levels many times higher than permissible limits. Sales have fallen and products have taken off the shelf.
The other brands of Coca-Cola is also suffering from the setback. Even five months after the CSE assertion, officials of Coca-Cola admit the damage done by these accusations have been far-reaching. Sales have been hit substantially and refuse to show any chances of recovery.

Create a 360 degree advertising and Public relations plan that puts the company on the path of positive growth.

  • It will be judged on the points of graphics, video and audio editing , presentation, and anchoring skills.
  • The content has to be based on news not less than 1 month old.
  • Time duration- Min: 3 mins, Max- 7 mins
