About NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Government of India initiative that aims to cultivate the character and personality of college students by engaging them in community service. It is a program that welcomes all college students and motivates them to participate in various social activities to enhance society’s well-being. NSS volunteers partake in activities such as awareness campaigns, health camps, cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, among others, with the intention of fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy in students towards the community, and promoting national integration. Participating in the NSS program offers benefits not only to the community but also to volunteers, as it develops their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. It also presents an opportunity to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and learn about their cultures and beliefs. In summary, the NSS program plays an integral role in developing students’ characters and enhancing society. It promotes social responsibility, civic consciousness, and encourages young people to become active citizens who contribute to the growth and development of the nation.

Message From Principal

I am delighted to share that our college is now part of the National Service Scheme (NSS), a community service initiative powered by young people and backed by the Indian government. As the principal of our esteemed institution, I am thrilled to see our students getting involved in activities that are socially relevant and promote community development, national integration, and overall personal growth. NSS provides our students with an opportunity to participate in a wide range of community service projects, such as blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, health camps, and other initiatives that contribute to the welfare of society as a whole. By participating in NSS, our students not only enhance their community but also cultivate leadership skills, a sense of responsibility, and an understanding of social issues. I encourage all our students to seize this wonderful opportunity and actively participate in NSS activities. I am confident that our college will make a significant contribution to the NSS movement and inspire others to follow our lead. Together, let us strive to create a better society and a brighter future for our nation.
