Officials of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced that 2021 board examinations will be conducted manually, that is, on offline mode. The board has confirmed to conduct written examinations instead of online examinations in the year 2021. The dates for conducting the CBSE Board examinations are still under discussion.As the new year draws near, students, parents, teachers, and schools have started worrying about board exams (Board Exams 2021). The confusion is when and how these examinations will be conducted amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conveyed some important information in this regard. CBSE has stated that ‘Class 10 and 12th board exams to be held in 2021 will be taken in offline mode (pen-paper/written format) only. No subject will be conducted through an online mode. All social distancing norms and infection prevention protocols of Covid-19 will be followed during the examination.

Schools are closed due to rising covid infection and fatality. Hence, the biggest concern is CBSE Practical Exams. Particularly for 12th science students, who are required to give a practical score of 30 marks. However, the schools will remain open for conducting practical classes this year.
In this regard, the CBSE has announced that if students are unable to do practical classes before the exams, then they will find an alternative option for it.
