The quiz was hosted by Mr. Gautam Bose, CEO, Greycells. He is a veteran at hosting quizzes and knowledge based programs. He interacted with the participants and the audience in such a manner that it enthralled everyone present. The six teams that qualified for the finals from the 32 teams were: Techno Model School-Siliguri, Army Public School -Bengdubi, St. Xaviers School -Pakyong (Sikkim), Birla Divya Jyoti School-Siliguri, St. Joseph’s School- Darjeeling and Don Bosco School-Siliguri. It was a close fight amongst the teams but as the rule goes “ONLY ONE WINS”.
Gautam Bose said that he had not got very many opportunities to the quiz in Siliguri and North Bengal but the quality of students in the region has always attracted and amazed him. It shows the dearth of opportunities for the students in the region to showcase their talent on a big stage. Inspiria Knowledge Campus brought a world class event to the region for the school students through InspiriaQ inter-school quiz competition, 2014.
There were three teams which were chosen as eventual winners after the finale. They were: St. Joseph’s School-Darjeeling, the 2nd Runners Up who won themselves a trophy, certificates, goodies from Wai Wai for each team member and a cash reward of Rs. 3, 000.
