With all the hullabaloo in the pleasant wintry evening of Saturday, 7th Dec 2019 Inspiria Gavel Club celebrated its inception with a demo session. The Demo session was attended by parents and students of different schools across Siliguri. Toastmasters of different clubs in the area were present to encourage the students and to support such a wonderful initiative taken by Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Matigara. Inspiria Toastmasters Club is the host sponsor of Inspiria Gavel Club. TM Sherry George from Inspiria Toastmasters Club commenced the demo session with a welcome speech.
TM Abha Ohri, District Toastmaster & Director Area J motivated the students – The Gaveliers with her inspiring & effervescent speech. There was a short presentation with an aim to inform parents & Gaveliers on the club procedures and responsibilities of the new members.
The club also witnessed an interactive session where queries of parents and Gaveliers were attended to by the Club Counsellor.
It was wonderful to see aspiring Gaveliers introduce themselves with such vigor & enthusiasm that it lit up the demo session with its brightness & galore.
TM Geetanjali Rathore is the Counsellor of the club. She aspires to work with full dedication to develop & nurture Communication & Leadership Skills among the young Gaveliers. Her vision is to help the Gaveliers become self-aware & self affirm. She believes that a true personality shines where there is self-growth & confidence.
Therefore, Inspira Gavel Club staying true to its core values intends to work towards fulfilling its mission. The club will meet up with every Saturday and march ahead towards perfection step-by-step.
