Imparting knowledge with a global perspective and a passion for academic eminence, Army Public School, Bengdubi is reforming the benchmark for High School Education with a core focus on human values and discipline. Currently comprising of approximately 2300 students from Nursery to Class XII, the institution is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education since its inception from 1981 as Army School, Bengdubi. However, the name was shifted to Army Public School in 2012.
Honourable Principal Mr M. Nabi of APS, Bengdubi stated that “Army School Bengdubi started its journey from 1st July 1981 with standard Nursery to Class 6. The name Army Public School was changed in 2012 and the old school was based in a barrack building 1km away from the current location with only 325 students. Currently having 2300 students from class I to XII.
He also remarked that “from inception, the school was having Principal from Army but from 2012 onwards the Principals’ are from a civilian background and I am the 14th principal, appointed in April 2015″.
Acclaimed to be one of the most organised academic institutions of the region. The institution is working with the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) established in 1983, ensuring well-defined structure both for academics and management including education at affordable rates for Army wards.
