Anirban Bhattacharya

Asst. Professor

Currently working as an Assistant Professor in Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Siliguri, West Bengal, Dr. Anirban Bhattacharya has been working as an English faculty for the last 10 years. He completed his PhD in Transnational and Diaspora Studies from Rabindra Bharati University in 2022. He has a Diploma in French as well. He has several publications to his name in both national and international journals. He has written several book-chapters and also edited several books on English Literature. He spends his free time creating vlogs and short films, photography and traveling. He has organized several theater workshops and took part in several seminars and conferences.

  • Presented a paper entitled- Why I am not You? A Comparative Study of Dalit and Black Literature and Theory in the ICSSR sponsored two-day national seminar on “Off the Mark: Marginality, Narratives and Reclaiming History” at Sidha- Kanho- Birsa- University held on 7th and 8th December 2016.
  • The paper was published by the UGC approved ‘International Journal of English Language, Literature in Humanities’ (IJELLH) in March 2018, bearing ISSN no. 2321-7065.
  • Published the paper entitled, ‘The Hazaras Life and Literature: The Representation of the Hazaras in Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner’ in the Journal of Kolkata Society of Asian Studies in 2020 (UGC Care-listed Journal) bearing ISSN no. 2454-5694.
