Dechen Donka Bhutia is an architect, educator, researcher, and certified trainer with over 13 years of combined experience in architectural design, project leadership, and higher education. With a Master’s degree in International Architectural Regeneration and Development from Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Jadavpur University, she brings a strong interdisciplinary approach to architecture, urban regeneration, and sustainable planning. She has over five years of experience as an Assistant Professor, mentoring architecture students, supervising undergraduate theses, organising academic workshops and educational tours, and integrating experiential learning into architectural education. Alongside academia, she has led multidisciplinary architectural projects and founded her own design practice, combining academic insight with practical expertise in design development, research, and institutional growth.
