Imran Ibrahimi is a filmmaker and academic with extensive experience in film editing, direction, and media production. He holds a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Editing (2014–16) from Roopkala Kendro, Film and Social Communication Institute , under the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of West Bengal. He also completed a Film Appreciation course (2010) conducted by Chalachitra Satabarsha Bhawan, Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of West Bengal. Imran’s editorial credits span across feature films, documentaries, short films, music videos, YouTube series, and corporate videos , with several of his works screened and awarded at prestigious international film festivals. His films have featured in globally recognized platforms such as the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (2023) , 28th Busan International Film Festival (2023) , Kolkata Children’s International Film Festival (2024 – Opening Film) , JIO MAMI Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (2023) , Kerala International Film Festival (2023) , Golden Horse Taipei (2023) , and CinemAsia Netherlands (2024) , among others.
