Introduction
Inspiria AD’25 is an Art and Design festival which is to be held on May 9-10, 2025. It is a transformative platform that bridges imagination, talent, and opportunity to emphasize artistic expression. This Art and Design festival is destined to become North Bengal’s premier creative hub as it brings together diverse artistic disciplines from media, arts, and graphics design to sustainable fashion, creative storytelling, and digital arts creating an ecosystem where North Bengal‘s creative future takes shape.
This year Inspiria AD’25 collaborates with The North Bengal Painter Association (NBPA) and will bring exceptional artwork, complemented by live art demonstrations. Artist Bipul Roy with his legacy of creative genius and 17 years of experience in oil paintings, canvas works, and paper drawings will also showcase “North Bengal through Painter Eyes”.
What is Its Importance and Purpose?
Pablo Picasso once said “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” which simply means that art is the only thing that can cleanse our soul from the dust of negativity, mundaneness, and many such which we carry and overburden us in our everyday lives. Inspiria AD’25 seeks to emphasize the importance of art and discover, nurture, and empower aspiring artists, designers, and content creators while bringing classroom talent with industry expertise through mentorship. This event will not only help students to unfold and bring growth to their creativity, and other soft skills but will also help them build lasting connections that will extend far beyond this event.
What Inspiria AD’25 has to offer?
Apart from creativity and functioning with collaborations Inspiria AD’25 has several engaging sessions offer to upskill your talent. Such as,
- Creative Thinking Session: This powerful session( to be held on MAY 6, 9:30 AM- 12:30 PM) is the key to unlocking your creative potential. Be ready to break your mental barriers with Prof. Neeti Banga from NIFT Delhi.
- Fashion Thinking Session: This session (to be held on 7th May, 9:30 – 12:30) will take you through styling fundamentals and also join teams for a themed fashion showcase at the finale.
- Fragments of Perspectives: Turning Scraps into Stories (to be held on 8th May, all day) In this session you will be guided by Ichha Agarwal, founder of The Needlemaid Co,who will teach you to transform discarded materials into collective story telling.
- Acrylic Fluid Art: This session (to be held on 8th May, all day) will be an experience to feel the therapeutic power of fluid art with international artist and art therapist Sunaina Kasera.
- Dot Mandala Creation: Explore the serene art of dot Mandala (to be held on 9-10 May, Live Demo) in this session with Madhu Agawal the founder of Srishtii Art Gallery, Kolkata.
- Sound & Art Healing Workshop: Immerse yourself in this session (to be held on May 10, 9:30 AM) of magical fusion of sound and art with certified therapist Manpreet Kaur.
- Doodle Art Exhibition: Marvel at imaginative doodle artworks created by students of Inspiria across various disciplines, highlighting creativity in its most spontaneous form.
- Bamboo Workshops and Installations: Discover sustainable design through interactive bamboo installations that serve as focal points throughout the festival venue. These structures showcase the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design aesthetics while creating three-dimensional image that stresses on eco-conscious inventions.
