Uccha Madhyamik Result 2024 – Highlights
In the 2024 WB HS science stream examinations, 1,05,810 students participated, achieving a pass percentage of 97.19%.
In the commerce stream, 38,439 students took the WB HS exams, with an overall pass rate of 96.08%.
For the humanities stream, out of the total 5,95,292 students, 88.2% successfully passed the WB HS exams.

Boys Outperform Girls in West Bengal Class 12 Board Exams with a Margin of 14.84%
In the recently concluded West Bengal Class 12 board examinations, boys have emerged as the frontrunners, surpassing girls with an impressive margin of 14.84%. While the girls’ pass percentage stood at a commendable 86%, it was the boys who secured an even higher pass percentage of 91.68%.
WB Class 12th Topper Announced
The live results of the WBCHSE West Bengal HS Exam 2024 reveal the top achievers. Abhik Das from Alipurduar secures the first position, scoring 496 marks, equivalent to 99.2%. The West Bengal Council announces a total of 58 students from 15 districts making it to the top 10 list.

Uccha Madhyamik 2024 original Marksheet Distribution
The official distribution of the original mark sheet, pass certificate, and related documents will take place on May 31, 2024, commencing at 11 am. This important event will be facilitated through designated distribution camps where the heads of the respective institutions or their authorized representatives will have the opportunity to collect these essential documents.

WBCHSE HS Exams Schedule
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the exam schedule for the Higher Secondary (Class 12) Examinations in 2024, known as the WB 12th Datesheet 2024. The exams took place from March 14 to March 27, 2024. In contrast to the previous year, the Council has made changes for the 2024 exams.
Unlike last year, where the HS exam syllabus was reduced by 30 per cent due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the exams were conducted based on the full syllabus. The Council decided not to follow a rationalised syllabus, which means that students had to study the complete syllabus.
