On November 24, 2024, the city of Siliguri witnessed a spectacular celebration of fitness, community, and sportsmanship with Inspiria YouthRun 7.0.
The flagship event hosted by Inspiria Knowledge Campus brought together thousands of runners, spectators, and supporters. This edition of the YouthRun has truly proved its status as the most vibrant running event in North Bengal.
Youthrun excitement on Social Media
Before Inspiria YouthRun 7.0, we ran a fun social media campaign where runners could predict their race times. This simple activity got a lot of attention and made the runners even more excited about the event. It also encouraged them to set goals and share their excitement with others online, adding to the buzz before the big day.

Time-chip technology for precise tracking
This year, Inspiria YouthRun introduced time-chip technology for precise tracking, offering participants an unmatched running experience. The event featured two race categories—5K and 10K—providing opportunities for both seasoned runners and beginners to participate.
Race Course
The race course was thoughtfully crafted to ensure an enjoyable experience for the runners. Participants in the registered 5K and 10K categories navigated through scenic trails encompassing Himachal Vihar, the City Centre Mall area, and Uttarayan.
Moreover, the course featured hydration points strategically placed to keep the participants refreshed and energized. The availability of these hydration stations added a thoughtful touch, acknowledging the physical demands of the run and promoting a sense of well-being among the runners. In matters of safety, an ambulance was stationed at the disposal, standing by to address any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
Youthrun 2024 Chief Guest – Bhaichung Bhutia
Bhaichung Bhutia’s presence at Inspiria YouthRun 7.0 created a wave of excitement among the participants. After felicitating the winners, he spent time interacting with the runners and happily posed for photos. People were thrilled to take selfies with the legendary footballer, making his presence a highlight of the event.
His presence added inspiration to the event, motivating participants to push their boundaries and embrace the spirit of competition.

A total of seven individuals emerged as winners in YouthRun 2024. The list below showcases both the winners and the runners-up for the event.
The winners were awarded YouthRun Trophy under different categories and every participant received a certificate of appreciation and an Olympic size medal.

Every finisher was rewarded with an impressive set of goodies, including exclusive T10 running T-shirts, personalized bibs, timing chips for precise results, finisher medals, e-certificates, and a hearty breakfast with refreshments, ensuring a memorable and fulfilling experience for all participants.
A Lively Atmosphere and Enthusiastic Participation
The enthusiasm at the YouthRun was palpable, with cheering Inspiria professors lining the route and schools from across the region joining in the spirit. Notable schools like Campion International School, Isabella School, Emmanuel International School, Father LeBlond School, and many others participated in large numbers.
Local running groups, such as the Jhaldhaka Runners, brought additional energy and camaraderie, ensuring that the event was as much about community as it was about competition.
