The NASSCOM Techconclave, 2015 held at Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Siliguri was a huge success. NASSCOM is the premier organization that represents and sets the tone for public policy for the Indian software industry. The events that were held during the NASSCOM Techconclave were the Coding Competition, Career Makeover and interaction with the people from the field of Information Technology.
The techconclave was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp ceremony by Mr. Atul Gupta, Founder & CEO Insync Solutions, Mr. Nirupam Chaudhuri, Regional Head, NASSCOM East, Mr. Kamal Agarwala, Chairman NASSCOM East Region Product Council and Prof. Indrajeet Chatterjee, Principal Inspiria Knowledge Campus.
There was an interactive session by eminent personalities from the field of Information Technology. An insight was provided by them into the field of employment and entrepreneurship. In the coding competition that was held simultaneously at Inspiria College around 40 participants participated in the contest.
The winners of the coding competition were Mr. Ankit Jhunjhunwala from SIEM Institute who won a cash prize of ₹ 5,000, Mr. Nishkal Prakash from SIEM Institute who won a cash prize of ₹ 3,000 and Mr. Avirup Basu from SIT College who won a cash prize of ₹ 2,000. Mr. Ankit Jhunjhunwala who won the coding competition got an on the spot job offer from Mr. Atul Gupta, Founder & CEO Insync Solutions.
Prof. Indrajeet Chatterjee, Principal, Inspiria Knowledge Campus thanked all the various dignitaries for coming and gracing the ocassion. He also credited the team at Inspiria for their relentless hard work and dedication to make the programme a grand success. He also promised to have such events in the near future for the benefit of the students.
