16th of January 2016 saw the ‘Start-up India Stand-up India’, an initiative by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
At Inspiria Knowledge Campus the panel discussion was organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Young Indians (Yi) in association with Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) on Start up India Stand-up India from 4:30pm to 5:30 pm and was followed by the live viewing of the launch from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event was presided by Mr. Naresh Agarwal, Chairman of CII , on the dais was Ratan Bihani, Vice- Chairman of CII , Ms. Laxmi Limbu Kaushal, Head of CII, Mr. Prabin Agarwal of Yi Chair, Mr. Sandeep Agarwal of Yi Co Chair and Mr. Rahul Gupta of Inspiria Knowledge Campus.

The discussion threw light on what a ‘Start-Up ‘ is and how it will help the young entrepreneurs. The young minds or the future entrepreneurs of Inspiria got a clear picture of the idea behind ‘Start-up India Stand-up India’. According to the discussion a start company is one which has a new innovative idea to give better service to the society and which is of one to five years old. Various examples of the different start-up entrepreneurs like Ola Cabs, OYO Rooms etc were also discussed. The discussion also focused on the financial support that the government would offer the start-up entrepreneurs and how important is the use of technology. The queries of the audience were clarified by the panellist. It was a great eye opener for the future entrepreneurs of Inspiria.
