Teacher’s Day is celebrated on the 5th of September each year as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by teachers to the society by imparting knowledge and enlightening along with shaping the career of the students.
On the 126th birth anniversary of the great philosopher, former President of India, Bharat Ratna awardee Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Siliguri went ahead and met eminent Professors of Siliguri and took their message for the students on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
Prof. Indrajit Chatterjee, Principal, Inspiria Knowledge Campus spoke about the privileged children to help the underprivileged and educate them in whichever way possible. He asked the students to become responsible along with being teachers in their own rights.
We the people should remember to make a contribution to society in our own little way and not just wait for people to make the change when we know something is wrong. All of us have been students in our lives at some point in time therefore Teacher’s Day should be celebrated by all of us and not just Teachers and Students.
