When it comes to quality education, Inspiria Knowledge Campus always puts in the best practices to provide quality knowledge. Inspiria once again throttled its pages with an amazing journey that students could dream of. On the 3rd of October 2018, a team of 29 students headed by Mr. Anil Phillip and Mr. Neerjang Lama started their journey to Vizag, an industrial city nestled at the shores of the Bay of Bengal. Being located at one of the densest industrialized belts of the country has its own perks and Inspiria Knowledge Campus missed no opportunity to make the most of it.
The Inspiredge IT Solutions Company marked the first industrial tour of BBA (H) 2016-19 and 2017-20 of Inspiria. It started with the virtual tour of IT services providing in-depth information about the procedures and processes of the company. The students were taken to different sections by the departmental heads with extensive presentations on the statistical figures of the company imparted to the visiting students. In the end, a query session was organized where the students got to interact with the CEO of the company regarding the Company’s strategy and management, the student’s role in an IT firm. The company’s achievement of “The Best Place To Work” recognition was one of the major and featured attractions.
Hindustan shipyard limited was the next stop, a manufacturing firm, dealing with the construction and reconstruction of vessels and underwater crafts. Here the students were introduced to various unique machines which were produced in very small numbers requiring intensive labor techniques. The students also got the sneak peek of a country’s water defence system. This shipyard gave the students an opportunity to have the virtual view of the “Telecommunication Ship” which is one amongst the four in the whole world. The students were also introduced to the modern ways of ship launching; the process of transferring a vessel to the water for its independent ride. The aim of the visit was to acquaint students of the industrial practices followed in a large manufacturing plant and to appreciate how theory is applied in real life scenarios. Students took back a unique and educating experience with them when they left the plant.
Finally, the city tour of Vizag gave the industrial visits a final and an obviously soothing nostalgic touch. Places like The Tribal museum in Araku Valley, The Aircraft museum, The Submarine museum, The Bora Caves, The Rama Naidu Studio and The Kailash Giri Temple were wandered and seemingly explored.
An astonishing piece of memory once again created by INSPIRIA that not only trained the students but also helped them set their minds to live up to their full potential in this ever-changing fast-paced world!
