Avik as his name suggest does not fear the obstacles that come his way. He is the native of Siliguri and the first year BBA student of Inspiria Knowledge Campus. If asked to describe him we can say that he is lazy, shy, friendly, moody and a foodie person. He is a fun loving person who loves to travel and explore the world and he loves to do it with his friends. A very emotional person who feel that he is unfortunate to be a single child. In a world where people fight with their own blood it’s great to have people like him who feel the pain of not having brothers or sisters.
Avik Agarwal with his team Bye-Loads at YuStart 2015
After completing his grade 10 from DPS, Siliguri he pursued his plus two from FIITJEE, New Delhi which turned to be a disaster. Coming back from Delhi with the IIT results pushed him into the family business of Iron and Steel named Sri Raj Shyama Steel Co, He then joined the Salesian college where he was forced to drop the course due to shortage of attendance. The death of his grandfather during this time was the turning point in his life. His grandfather was his ideal and role model, who was a great businessman and as per his vision Avik joined their family business with full vigour. For the next three years he put his heart and soul into the family business. This three years of work really taught him the meaning of the word entrepreneur and business.
Team Bye-Loads being felicitated at Efugen.
The self realization that he is not a graduate brought him to Inspiria Knowledge Campus. He was one of the members of Inspirias team Bye – Load that bagged the fourth place in the YuSTART 2015 business plan competition organized by Young Indians in Bangalore. A small problem that he faced in his business became an excellent idea ‘BYE–LOADS’ as the start up in the business plan competition and it bagged the fourth place in YuSTART 2015.
Inspiria is proud to have an all-rounder who is active in all the activities of the college and we hope we can add more light into his life and career.
