Lately, the official sources have revealed that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly modified the question pattern for CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2021. The modifications in the 2021 CBSE Board Exam Question Pattern has been made to add more weightage to reasoning skills and aptitude test.
As per the latest updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education is concentrating more on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and those based on case studies. The sources have further revealed that the new exam pattern for CBSE class 12 Boards 2021 aims to evaluate students’ proficiency to understand a subject topic.
The change in CBSE question pattern for the Class 12 Board Exams came to cue through the sample questions released by the board. Several schools in affiliation with the CBSE noticed the weightage given on MCQs. The emphasis on the same has been increased by 10 percent in the sample question papers.
Due to the spike in covid-19 cases, the CBSE had lessened the syllabus for Class 10 and Class 12 by 30% by reducing at least 4-5 chapters in each subject. The intent was to ensure stress-free learning for students. Further, it is said to reduce the pressure amongst the teachers and enable them to accomplish the syllabus effectively amid the anxious domination of the coronavirus. Reports have confirmed that the change will be carried out shortly.
The CBSE board has furthermore published the tentative dates for the Class 12 practical exam 2021. According to the report, the practical examinations for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 will begin from January 1 to February 8.

The CBSE Board has also released the latest marks pattern of Class 12 to CBSE affiliated schools.
