The “Shining Stars” of the ISC board exams were felicitated at Inspiria Knowledge Campus on the 15th of May 2016. Even though a Sunday the campus was bustling with the students who put the event together. Inspirians were proud to honour the students who scored above 80% in the ISC boards. Students from schools like Nirmala Convent, Sunshine School, Don Bosco, Lincolns High School, Loreto Convent, St.Joseph’s High School, St.Augustine’s, West Point, Himalayan International School etc participated in this event.
The programme began with Asst.Professor Sherry George giving the importance of felicitating the students with 80% marks and above. Students of various departments also addressed the gathering Avik Agarwal of the Department of Business Administration shared his experience and spoke about the need to be positive. Anmol Rai of the department of Computer Application spoke about the need to be self motivated and adapt change for one’s own good, Bivek Chandak of the department of Media Science asked the shining stars to follow their passion, Rajat Tirkey of the Department of Hospitality Management shared his life experience and about the hurdles he had to face to follow his heart and study something of his interest. Amit Agarwal of the department of Business Administration encouraged the students to study in their hometown and to do something innovative. The videos and pictures of the candid moments shot were also shared.
Mr Rahul Gupta Operations Head of Inspiria Knowledge Campus and Mr Indrajit Chatterjee felicitated the shining stars, which was followed by a tour of the campus, snacks and tea. The students left with great enthusiasm and the drive to do something that they are passionate about. Happy and proud of their achievement, they promised to do better in their coming endeavors.
