International Women’s Day was organized in the midst of great excitement in Inspiria Knowledge Campus where male students from the Cultural Club carried out various activities to make the day memorable.
An engaging video presentation and a short play was performed by male students which upheld the theme – ‘the undeninable necessity of women in family life’ – without which society finds itself in peril. Womanhood and feminity being the central theme of the day was further emphasized by the presention of roses to all female students and members of faculty that marked the intensity of affection and respect for each other. Speeches by students were given that stressed upon the uniqueness and credibilty that women nurture within themselves and how they carry strength within themselves to face challenges in an ever dominating man’s world.
In appreciation of student’s decision Principle of Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Dr. Malay Kanti Karanjai, felicitated Smt. Sangita Sharma, an office attendent coming from an underprivileged section of society who serves beverages and food to all team members in the campus dutifully with a smile.
A debate competition on the theme ‘can women ever equal men?’ organized by the Management Club was carried out with equal female student representation from BBA, B.SC Media Science, BCA & BHM departments where after a highly charged session Srijana Thapa, a student of second year BBA emerged as the ‘Best Speaker’ who opioned that ‘women are unique and cannot be compared to men ‘and Sweta Gupta and Tiasha Sil of B.SC Media Science of second and first year respectively were declared as the ‘Best Team.’
