INDEPENDENCE-DAY-celebration

India celebrated its 68th Independence Day on the 15th of August, 2014. There was a sense of immense joy and happiness along with gratitude for the country all across the globe. Indians from all across the world celebrated the day with equal enthusiasm.

People at Siliguri and Kalimpong celebrated the day with equal joy and happiness. Inspiria Knowledge Campus celebrated the day at “Apna Ghar”, a shelter for the old people at Kadamtala, Siliguri. It was of immense joy for the people to find youngsters celebrating the day with them. It made them feel wanted and accepted in the society.

At Kalimpong students of Kumdini Homes School celebrated the day with much fun and frolic with the flag hoisting ceremony, march past and drill at the Kalimpong Mela Ground. It showed the enthusiasm of the children and the people involved in the celeberations.

The day brought out the patriotic feelings of the 1.84 billion people in India which showed in their actions and thoughts towards the motherland.
