Hotel Management students of Inspiria pursuing their second year of Bachelor of Hotel Management, surprised every member of the Inspiria family last Friday by offering mouth watering cuisine for lunch that was prepared with great care and tastefully done. A choice of non-veg and veg dishes that included Fragrant Rice, Chicken Do Piyaza, Paneer Do Piyaza, Kadai Chicken, Dal Panchmel, Aloo Matar, Kesri Halwa were served with utmost professionalism by hotel management students.
This activity being a part of their course curriculum the BHM students were subjected to a real life scenario where they had the first-hand experience of bulk-cooking for 200 pax. A lot of hard work and time bound preparation led to the successful preparation of the dishes that was greatly relished by all.
In response to the positive feedback Prof. Anjani Nandan, Asst. Professor BHM commented by asserting that “such activities greatly build upon the capacity of students to conceptualize, plan and execute bulk food processing and equips them to match industry standards”. And that “in response to the positive feedback on the quality of our dishes we plan to serve lunch to all inspirians every Friday to attain perfection in the process.”
