wbchse 2020 new exam date – The pending papers of the class 12 board examinations conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will now be held on July 2, 6 and 8. This was announced by West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee as per newspaper reports. The previous re-scheduled dates for these exams were June 29, July 2 and July 6. However this has been rescheduled again and now will begin from July 2.
The Higher Secondary or Uchya Madhyamik Examinations were supposed to be held from match 13 to march 27. This was before the Coronavirus lockdown. When the lockdown was announced the examinations scheduled on March 23, 25 and 27 had to be postponed. Most of the papers however were completed by March 21.
The papers for which examinations had to be postponed includes Physics, Nutrition, Education, Accountancy, Chemistry, Economics, Journalism, Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic, French, Statistics, Geography, Costing and Taxation, Home Management and Family Resource Management.
As per the latest schedule the exams for Education, Nutrition, Accountancy and Physics will be held on 2 July.
July 6 is the date for examination of Sanskrit, Economics, Chemistry, Journalism and Mass Communication, Persian, French and Arabic.
Examinations for Geography, Costing and Taxation, Statistics, Home Management and Family Resource Management would be held on 8 July.

A set of guidelines have been announced to ensure the safety of the students and those conducting the examinations in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
All teaching and non-teaching staff has to user masks and gloves in the examination halls and every centre would be sanitized prior to the examination.
