In August of this year, Inspiria Knowledge Campus opened its very own incubation center called InHub. As a college, Inspiria Knowledge Campus has always prioritized employability and encouraging students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Staying true to its vision, Inspiria Knowledge Campus has been working for a long time to initiate something that would help promote the entrepreneurial mindset more in the region. And with InHub, this idea became a reality.
What is InHub?
InHub is a one-of-a-kind incubation center in Siliguri and the surrounding region of North Bengal. As the name implies, it is a hub where ideas are welcomed, nurtured, developed, and guided toward success. It is created to assist young entrepreneurs in the region in working on and growing their start-up into a full-fledged enterprise. InHub’s mission is to support small-scale startups in their early stages.
Early-stage development is critical for any startup, so by establishing such a center, the region’s entrepreneurs would be exposed to a variety of opportunities. The incubation center is a result of an initiative by the Inspiria Knowledge campus to foster an entrepreneurial mindset in the region. This center was created to usher in a new era of sharing ideas and bringing them to life.
Location
InHub is housed at Inspiria Knowledge Campus in Siliguri. The campus is located in an area that is both secluded and close to the city. It is a 10-minute walk from City Center, one of North Bengal’s main lifestyle destinations. This means easy access to public transportation and all of the city’s amenities.
Inspiria Knowledge Campus, which spans 5 acres, is a perfect example of architecture meeting nature. The greenery on campus and the minimal design of the building structures make the landscape one of a kind in Siliguri. It is located on campus but is still secluded, allowing for a peaceful working environment. In addition to being a crucial part of the campus, Inhub is also of service to the curriculum for students in the entrepreneurship department. The space as a whole and the workshops offered here help students to drive their entrepreneurial passion further.
The Design and Experience
InHub was created with the utmost care and thought. It has been designed in a way that makes you feel welcome. The space intends to bring people together, as we all know that collaboration is essential for building a startup. The space’s overall design has been kept edgy, but with interior decoration which simply blends in. The elements in the space are not forced, but rather function as a part of the overall design.
Flexibility and sustainability were two of the primary considerations in the design of InHub. InHub, unlike traditional office spaces, has rooms with few to no walls, with glass walls installed where necessary. This creates a more open and fluid environment. The rooms are designed without cubicles so they can be used in any way that is necessary. The result is an open workspace that allows for easy communication, idea sharing, and connectivity. These adaptable spaces not only necessitate a smooth transition but also assist us in introducing and encouraging horizontal communication.
We truly believe that subtlety speaks louder than intensity. Just as much thought went into subtly bringing flexibility and functionality into the space, so much thought went into subtly promoting sustainability. A variety of plants have been strategically placed throughout the space to promote an eco-friendly workspace while also promoting sustainability. Keeping sustainability in mind, we used salvaged wood from the campus’s construction projects over the years. These woods have been exquisitely transformed into various pieces of furniture for the space.
Bringing the outside in and vice versa is one of the most important aspects of effective design. We did the same at InHub with Innovation Garden, an expanded outdoor space. This outdoor terrace is a single space with multiple functions, adhering to the flexibility theme once more. The Innovation Garden is outfitted with an open theater and plenty of open terrace space, making it ideal for official events and simply relaxing in between work. This entire area can be used as an outdoor workspace, a party space, or even a space for various official functions. There is everything you need for comfortable outdoor seating in terms of seating.
Co-Working
Because there is ample space, InHub is also being introduced as a co-working space. With the rapid change in working habits, more people are choosing remote work. As the popularity of remote work grows, so does the demand for space, because remote work does not always imply working from home. Some people prefer to work remotely but from a location other than their homes, which is where InHub comes in.
The diversification of this space into a co-working space is intended to meet the growing demand for office space in Siliguri. When it comes to imagination, ideas, and innovation, the ambiance is critical, and we don’t hesitate to provide it with a spectacular view of the hills, in addition to the flexible design and eco-friendly workstation. InHub is suitable for everyone, whether you are working remotely or developing your own business.
InHub can meet all of your needs for a working space, whether you need a single desk, a group of desks, meeting rooms, or conference rooms. There are spaces available for a single person, a team, and even more. It is one of its first kinds when it comes to co-working spaces in Siliguri. Whatever your requirements are, whether it is design, functionality, ambiance, or location, Inhub will undoubtedly exceed them all. You will be working at the foothills of the Himalayas, mostly gazing at the distant hill of North Bengal. It is as affordable as it is beautiful in terms of price. The basic cost of booking a co-working space at Inhub is Rs 2K per month.
