“MAASTER CHEF” Cooking competition providing platform for Cooking enthusiats of Siliguri

COWE India West Bengal Chapter with venue and hosting partner Inspiria Knowledge Campus organised the “MAASTER CHEF” Siliguri Cooking Competition on Sunday 7th August 2016. The competition started with 30 semi-finalists on 29th and 30th of July 2016. The finals of the competition started sharp at 10am on 7th of August 2016 with 10 participants each of whom was assisted by the students of Hospitality Managment of Inspiria Knowledge Campus.

The competition comprised of Prof. Anjani Nandan, Joseph Rozario and Shazia Khan as the judges for the event. The first position was secured by Mrs. Anuradha Agarwal from Siliguri. She received a cash prize of Rs 21000 along with a winners trophy and several gift hampers. The other participants also received many consolation prizes, trophy and participation certificates.

An annual event organised for the second time in Siliguri is surely transforming the dynamics of cooking and cuisines in this region with hundreds of participants vying to secure a spot in the finale and create a separate identity and recognition for themselves.
